Safety and strength are non-negotiable. We equip ourselves with defense, legal knowledge, and resources to protect ourselves, our sisters, our children, and our planet. We stop asking for safety & enforce it ourselves.

We connect with each other. We foster real-world sisterhood, mentorship, and networks that root us in solidarity and purpose. We exercise resistance through joy, play, and rest. This is how we survive the fall of the old world & create the new one .
Empowerment
We empower each other. Knowledge is power, and power leads to action. Every woman contributes her wisdom, skills, and knowledge to empower her sisters. We learn the skills we need to challenge old systems & build self-reliance.
Collaboration
We build together. From businesses to art projects, from movements to activism, we work together to make our visions real & support our communities in ways that matter most. This is where Matriarchy differs from Patriarchy.
Local chapters will hold regular events around these pillars, including workshops, meetings, circles, social events, webinars, etc. They will also coordinate sisterly watches, rescue missions, activism activities, etc. The global sisterhood will collaborate online in The Obsidian Keep to coordinate cross-country efforts & develop large-scale movements & campaigns around these pillars.

Who This Society Is and Isn’t For
This is not a Society For:
- Coaches, energy workers, or Etsy shop owners just looking for a new audience or sales funnel
- Passive browsers or surface-level networkers
- Women still devoted to patriarchal norms (deferential marriages, trad-wife culture, purity teachings)
- Love-and-light spirituality with no teeth, no trauma-informed practice, and no intention to build
- Businesswomen who value profit over people, want to build alone, and compete with other women
- Wellness influencers chasing aesthetic over action
- Soft feminism that avoids anger, politics, or liberation talk
This isn’t another Facebook group. This isn’t another feminine business circle. This isn’t a place to chase leads.

One Sisterhood. Multiple Nests.
The Obsidian Serpents are a global network of women, connected through local chapters, or “nests.” The goal is to have a chapter in every major city across the globe for women to support their sisters in the real world while simultaneously connecting to their sisters around the world for cross-country impact. Once your application is accepted, you may be contacted by a local chapter organizer (if one is established in your area). If there is no local chapter established in your city, and you wish to be its organizer, indicate on your application. Until you can get involved with local chapter events, you may participate in the virtual fortress: The Obsidian Keep to begin coordinating your efforts, connecting with other Serpents, and contributing to our mission. One of our top priorities is bringing more women into the fold. You will represent the Obsidian Serpents as an independent agent promoting the protection, empowerment & support of women in your words & actions.

Not Sure Which Serpent You Are?
ALL SERPENT TYPES CONTRIBUTE TO THE LOCAL & GLOBAL NEST IN THEIR OWN WAY- THERE IS NO HIERARCHY.
Regardless of which Serpent you are (right now), every sister can offer to co-host events, provide resources, and promote the sisterhood. So don’t stress about your “type,” – or mention it in your application and I can offer my opinion.

Membership to The Obsidian Serpents is free, but donations are encouraged. Donations go towards maintenance of The Obsidian Keep platform, promotion efforts, time dedicated by Founding Serpents, and towards our resource pool for chapter organizers for venue reservations, event organizing & promoting, supplies for activities, etc. We’re in this together, each with her part to play.
